All parents using donor gametes need to have this line imprinted on their forehead: "[I]n the moment, we all make the best decisions we can, based on the information available to us at the time."  Maybe that will quiet some of the nagging fears we all face in the dead of night, when "what if" spawns into "what have I done?".
